JIM IYKE TO RELEASE RAP ALBUM
Nollywood actor, model, businessman and film maker Jim lyke is preparing to debut as a rap artiste. We gather that the actor turned singer is currently in the studios putting finishing touches to his yet untitled rap album.
Those who have been previledged to hear some of his recordings say that fans would be blown away by jim iyke’s extraordinary rap talent.
The Enugu state born Nollywood star is one of Nigerian’s most popular actors with a history of over100 movies in his film graph and has produced international movies with internationally renowned actresses like Judy Shekoni and Tangerine Martins.
Renowned for more than acting skills, he is a martial arts specialist and is celebrated for pioneering a lot of first in the home video industry, like being the first actor to produce a mainstream big budget movie abroad. Also as a businessman, Jim has considerable interest in Real Estate and resource management.
Though some of his fellow colleagues in Nollywood have at one point or the other ventured into music without much success, some critics wonder if the nollywood actor turned singer would be highly embraced by the hiphop community or perhaps it would be another case of trial and error.
Well, if you ask me, who says he can’t also succeed in music. Going by his antecedents as someone with the ability to demonstrate his ability at any given opportunity, Jim Iyke might just be Nigeria’s next Will Smith.
